One of my favorite things to do is to start a project not knowing what the outcome will be.
I like experimenting with various media and seeing what it will do. I don't often plan my paintings, sometimes I dream them and sometimes I just start laying down paint.
The rules of Art, what is that?
Creating is a need for me. It just makes me happy and fulfills my inner soul.
My inspirations are my family, friends and nature.
Growing up on the farm in Gravelbourg, I learned about the wonders of nature. The miracle
of growing things, whether it was my family wheat fields or the flowers in my grandfather's
garden inspires my artwork and my life.
I have taken a few classes from the Assiniboia Arts Council but I am primarily self- taught.
I don't want to paint like other people; I just want to paint like me. Daily painting is a must
for me; it makes my day. As an artist, I like to look at the small and simple things and see
the beauty in them.
Thank you for looking at my art and sharing in my perceptions of
beauty. Perhaps you will see a little bit of me in there as well.
